Angels

I have angels that surround my head
and tell me where to go
There’s some that tuck me into bed
and some I even know. 
They’ve wiped all of the tears I’ve shed
and watch me as I grow
I’ve never gone a day unfed 
they lift me when I’m low. 
I listen to the words they’ve said
and see the signs they show
even when I’m full of dread
their love just overflows.
