I realized our flame burnt out
While yours lit for someone else
But mine still quickly moves about
And wax just slowly melts
I take a breath, and hard I blew
But never did the flame subdue
Instead it only grew and grew
Into something else anew
I put it down and walk away
In hopes that it will lose its flame
But a wild fire it soon became
Something i could never tame.
But slowly as time does pass
My flame too shall lose its mass
Becoming smaller by the day
Until the wick has burnt away.
