She looks inside the crystal ball
and tells me what she sees
“Now grab my hands, pay attention
and keep your eyes on me.
You’ve been a slave to your past
but now you must let go.
You’ve made mistakes, you’ve finished last
but this is how you grow.
I see within the crystal ball
you only have two roads;
one is clear as crystal
and the other seems unknown.
But I cannot tell you all
I only give advice
so sit up nice and tall
for I will not say it twice.
Your past is filled of lies
which makes you so ashamed
you’ve lost so many people,
you know them all by name.
But you are not to blame
so let go of your regret
it only weighs you down
and makes you more upset.
You must force a change
a total life reset
or you will end up trapped
like a fish caught in a net.”
I couldn’t believe my ears
my jaw was on the floor,
I had so many questions
I wanted to know more.
“Whatever shall I do
to make myself anew
just tell me and I’ll do it
I must be overdue.”
She looked me in my eyes
and starred into my soul
she grabbed my hands again
to take over control.
“You must always tell the truth
I know it can be hard
but even a white lie
will leave some people scarred.
Dont worry if you let them down
This thought is so absurd
for nothing holds more weight
than the weight of your own word…”
