Beautiful Broken Glass

They were both slowly bleeding
But stayed so relaxed
Never seeing the red
That seeped through the cracks
Slowly killing eachother
As more time passed
Unaware of the storm
That was in the forecast.
They held on so tightly
Never loosing their grasp
But this made their cuts deeper
They felt them at last.
Wincing from pain
They put on a mask
To hide in vain
So the other wont ask.
It’s becoming unbearable
Their limit’s surpassed
They both then look down
And see their hand’s gashed
Yet they wouldn’t let go
Of their beautiful broken glass…
