I have no need to hide
when its just me, myself and I.
I sit, alone and in peace
for the opinions of other isn't important to me.
when i look in the mirror, i like my reflection
I feel that Im in the right direction.
My heart and mind needed correction
and now, they long for affection.
But its not always blue skies
there'll be days you feel your light doesn't shine.
take a deep breath and realize
the greatest healer of all is time.
With hard times, always comes wisdom
don't be a slave to your mind, you're not in prison
and if your road starts to blacken
think, "what if it'll turn out better than i imagine".
